Rana Segal

Director

Rana has worked as a director, producer and cinematographer for 30 years. Her work has aired on PBS, The Learning Channel, and Discovery Health Channel. She has Produced/Directed many documentaries about Chicago women including Gwendolyn Brook, Lee Botts, Hema Rajagopalan, Joy Aruguete as well as been Videographer/Cinematographer on documentaries dealing with surviving domestic violence, street gang life, the Guatemalan refugee experience, inner city neighborhood development and many other issues. She teaches filmmaking and video production at Columbia College and the Center for New Television.

Serves on Research & Scholarship and Program & Events Working Groups.
