Past & Present Strategies to Defend the Future Rights of Women
Open Call for Submissions
Chicago Women’s History Center is inviting proposals from our community to present lectures and practice-based workshops at our upcoming conference that address the theme: Past & Present Strategies to Defend the Future Rights of Women.
Proposals can include collaborative presentations and panel discussions with the max of four people presenting 15mins each. Sessions will be 1hour and 30mins long and there will be four sessions each day.
Conference presentations will be recorded and shared only with registered participants who register for that option.
Writers, scholars, researchers, and graduate students are encouraged to submit a proposal.

About the Conference
Chicago Women’s History Center is hosting a hybrid conference in March 2025. It will include a keynote speaker (yet to be announced) on Friday March 7, 2025 and a day of panels and presentations on Saturday March 8, 2025.
Registration for the conference will open on January 25, 2025 and people can register to attend the entire conference in person or virtually online through zoom. There is also the option to add recorded presentations to your registration bundle giving you access all the presentations for two months after the conference.
