Chicago Women's History Conference 2025

The Chicago Women's History Center is honored to host “Past & Present Strategies to Advance the Rights of Women”, a hybrid conference taking place on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Roosevelt University. This conference will bring together scholars, researchers, and advocates for a full day of panels, workshops, and discussions dedicated to the historical and contemporary strategies that have shaped the advancement of women’s rights.

Chicago Women’s History Center is delighted to work in partnership with Black Metropolis Research Consortium (BMRC), Evanston History Center and Women & Leadership Archives at Loyola University Chicago to host a hybrid conference on Saturday March 22, 2025. We have additional sponsors of WILPF U.S., Skyline Village and Chicago Hyde Park Village. It will include a Keynote Presentation by Jamila Woods and a Plenary session by Pinqy Ring with her mentees.
