A short excerpt of Mary Ann Johnson’s speech at CWHC Open House on Sunday March 17, 2024.

We celebrated our first Open House showcasing our new location in the Fine Arts Building, suite 403 on Sunday March 17, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm. Founded in 1971, CWHC celebrated its 50th anniversary recently and embarked on an exciting new era for the organization. During the past year we have undergone many changes including establishing a more public space for the organization and hiring an Executive Director for the first time.

The March 17th Open House we will introduce attendees to our beautiful new office space and to our new board leadership. This is a transition period for CWHC, and we want to share our excitement and include you in shaping the future of the organization. An important feature of this inaugural Open House will be the introduction of our new Executive Director, Carron Little. Carron will share a selection of previous projects and her new vision for CWHC, that invites you to participate in an envisioning process for the Center.
